Completed in 2021, this project forms part of the ongoing collaboration between Macana and Amazon across multiple sites nationwide. The works were delivered within a live logistics environment, requiring careful coordination, strict adherence to programme requirements, and a strong focus on health and safety compliance throughout.
The scope of works included the installation of fire-rated ceilings and floor systems to the warehouse mezzanine level, ensuring the required levels of fire protection, structural performance, and regulatory compliance. These elements were critical in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the facility while maintaining full alignment with project specifications.
In addition, the team delivered a series of internal office spaces through the construction of partition systems incorporating glazed sections, allowing for a balance between natural light penetration, visual connectivity, and acoustic privacy. Complementary works included the installation of acoustic ceilings and full decoration packages, enhancing both the functionality and overall finish of the office environments.
To provide greater flexibility within the workspace, folding partition systems were also installed, enabling adaptable space configurations to support different operational needs. These solutions allow areas to be reconfigured efficiently, improving usability and long-term operational performance.
This project reflects a consistent and structured approach to delivery across multiple sites, demonstrating Macana’s capability in executing complex fit-out works within active industrial and distribution settings.
